    Description

    This listing is for a Vintage Turned Hardwood Wooden Fig Tabletop Bowl with Lid, I think.  It's very dense wood, looks like a fig, and is beautifully turned.  I've been told it is for serving fig preserves and I see no reason it shouldn't be.  It would likely hold over a pint easily.  It certainly would need to be cleaned and oiled with food grade oil before use.  It could also be a salt cellar or just a nicely turned experiment.  I'll leave the use up to you.
